Read the NY Times on line and was not struck by anything. But, I have given a lot of thought to what I am interested in. Manners, social kindness, the ability to look someone in the eye and not be afraid to say "hello".
I have noticed a lot of the students at TU walk around never looking up to see who is around them. Engrossed or hiding within the technology attached to their ears they evade and miss out on life. It's disheartening to see so much energy dedicated to avoiding human contact.
